Frances Lillian Richards Granat

Frances Lillian Richards Granat of Higganum, 89, was reunited with her late husband Charles “Bror” Granat (of 61 years) in heaven on Aug. 30. Born April 17, 1920, Fran led a full life by unconditionally loving and caring for her very large family and many friends. Until her very last breath, Fran mothered her five children: son, Bror and Bev Granat of Higganum; daughters, Wanda Waters of Cromwell, Sonja and Paul Sousa of Higganum, Edna and Ward Holloway of Oakham, Mass., and Anita and Eric Bengtson of Cromwell. She also had a way of making each of her 18 grandchildren,
