Harold J. Howrigan Sr.

Harold J. Howrigan Sr., well-known Fairfield, Vt., dairy farmer and sugarmaker, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday afternoon, Sept. 7, 2009, with his loving family at his side. He was born in the stone house on the home farm on June 23, 1924, the youngest son of William and Margaret (McCarthy) Howrigan. Harold married Anne Rowley, who survives him, in St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton on Aug. 8, 1953.
