Walter T. Taylor

Walter T. Taylor, 89, of Good Samaritan Village, Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of East Hampton and Cromwell, passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2009. He was born in New Haven, grew up along the Connecticut River in Middle Haddam and graduated from Middletown High School in 1937. He served in the National Guard and Medical Corps of the U.S. Army for five years during World War II, achieving the rank of captain. He met his loving wife of 61 years, Lucille Boyle, while serving in San Antonio, Texas.
