Beating the OddsGreg Thomas is determined to fully recover from an illness that threatened his ability to speak and walk

MIDDLETOWN — Greg Thomas just turned 16. The manager of the Middletown High girls and boys swim teams leads a busy life. Besides managing both teams, a task that runs from early September to late March, the 6-1, 180 pound sophomore plays the trumpet in the terrific MHS marching band and is a key member of the jazz ensemble and concert band.
